Our Story
Fresh. Pure. Maleny. It inspires everything we do.
From collecting the purest Guernsey milk from a local family farm each morning, to sourcing delicious fresh flavour ingredients from local producers, we make our gelato on site in Maleny every day.
Our passionate team is proud to share what we love about our region, including its rich farming history, fresh mountain air and natural beauty. Our deliciously smooth and rich gelato bursting with natural flavours captures it all.

SOME SIMPLE FACTS ABOUT OUR GELATO & SORBET
• Gelato is the name for Italian style ice cream, which tastes far richer and creamier than regular ice cream because it is churned at a lower speed incorporating far less air.
• We make our sorbets using the same techniques, only these are water based and are entirely dairy free.
• We make all of our gelato on-site following traditional artisan techniques using small batch sizes and hand stirring through many of the flavour ingredients.
• Our gelato is made with 100% Maleny Guernsey milk, collected fresh daily from the family farm.
• Guernsey milk is high in A2 milk protein which is gentle on the stomach and easier to digest than other milk proteins. It also contains three times as much Omega 3 (the good fats) than other milks.
• We use only natural stabilizers and fresh flavour ingredients such as nuts, fruits, and chocolate to create our range of delicious flavours, sourcing ingredients locally wherever possible.
• Our sorbets are made from fruit purees, water and sugar, they are dairy, fat, egg, gelatine and gluten free and are suitable for vegans.
• True to tradition, we serve our gelato at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream so that the texture stays silky and smooth and the flavours are more intense.
• Some of our gelato contains nuts, and gluten. Whilst we take serious steps to minimise the risk of cross contamination we cannot guarantee that our products are safe for people with peanut, tree nut, milk, soy, egg or wheat allergies.
• Our gelato is recognised as being amongst the best in Australia for it’s quality and flavour. We consistently win food and dairy industry awards across the states including Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show, Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Product Show, Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards, Royal Hobart Show and Dairy Industry Association of Australia.
